About Oliver
Counselling
I am a person centred integrative counsellor. I encourage my clients to set the agenda and agree goals for therapy. But I also use cognitive and behavioural techniques and psychodynamic concepts in my work with clients.
Training
I trained in counselling and psychotherapy the University of East London (UEL) BACP accredited course and completed my counselling Diploma in 2006.
Experience
I see clients at PsychotherapyUK in W1 central London, at Doctor Today private medical centre in Finchley Road, north London and in my private practice in Stoke Newington. I also offer online skype counselling for overseas clients.
I worked as a volunteer counsellor for Terrence Higgins Trust for two and a half years, where I saw clients living with or affected by HIV.
I also worked for Victim Support for over two years as a volunteer counsellor offering emotional support to victims of violent crime.
