About me
I am an experienced trauma therapist and supervisor specialising in EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) and the Flash Technique - more info about my work.
I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an EMDR Europe accredited Consultant. I trained in counselling and psychotherapy at the University of East London and completed my Diploma in 2006.
Psychotherapy in Stoke Newington, N16, North London and on Zoom
I see clients in my Stoke Newington Practice. Stoke Newington is close to Dalston E8, Hackney E9, Stamford Hill N15, Finsbury Park N4 and Islington, N1. I also see clients online via Zoom.
NHS trauma work
I work as a Senior Therapist and EMDR Supervisor for the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service which is part of Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
My previous practice experience includes working for at iCope, the Camden and Islington Psychological Therapies Service and the IAPT NHS talking therapies service run by Mind in West Essex, One Therapy London, as a volunteer counsellor for Terrence Higgins Trust counselling team and at the Centre for Better Health (formerly the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association or PRA).
